Beast In Black present their fourth album and Sonata Arctica celebrate thirty years, the same night

Beast In Black and Sonata Arctica play Razzmatazz 1 on Wednesday 11 November, with Italy’s Frozen Crown opening. Doors at half past six, tickets 35 €, with Madness Live.

Beast In Black arrive presenting their fourth album, released this year. It’s the band Anton Kabanen put together in 2015 after leaving Battle Beast, and their power metal is deliberately loaded with synthesizers and broad choruses.

Sonata Arctica arrive marking thirty years: they formed in Kemi in 1995 and debuted in 1999 with “Ecliptica”. After a calmer, even acoustic phase, their latest albums have returned to the fast sound of their early days. Frozen Crown, from Milan, are the most recent of the three names on the bill, fronted by Giada Etro.
