Zeal & Ardor have released “Devil Is Fine x Carpenter Brut”, the French producer’s remix of the title track of their first album. It came out yesterday on MVKA.

“Imagine if one of the most capable electronic musicians out there remixed a song of ours. Imagine if that would result in a track that might eclipse the original. Imagine if you could listen to such a thing right now. We give you Devil Is Fine x Carpenter Brut,” Manuel Gagneux says.

“Zeal & Ardor have such a distinctive sound so it was a real pleasure to take ‘Devil Is Fine’ into my own world while keeping the spirit of the original,” Carpenter Brut answers.

The remix follows “Devil Is Fine X”, the tenth-anniversary edition of the album: fourteen tracks, the original nine remastered plus five taken from the self-released 2014 recording —“Death Of A Billion”, “Intermezzo II”, “Bellator Halli Rha”, “The Lesser Key” and “A Spiritual”. The digital version came out on 7 August and the CD and vinyl on 9 September.
