Combichrist announce an «Old School Electro Set» at Salamandra, with XPQ-21

Combichrist and Germany’s XPQ-21 perform at Salamandra, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, on Friday 4 December. Doors at eight in the evening, tickets 30 € in advance and 35 € on the door, with EclipseGroup.

The tour is billed as an “Old School Electro Set” of industrial techno and EBM: the repertoire from the project’s early years, before the sound got loaded up with guitars and double drum kits. Andy LaPlegua launched Combichrist in 2003 within the aggrotech scene, with albums like “The Joy of Gunz” and “Everybody Hates You”.

XPQ-21 come from the German EBM circuit of the nineties and share that part of the family tree with the headliners. Combichrist’s most recent release is the EP “Only Here For A Good Time”, from this year.
