Dark Christmas Festival 2026 stops at Sala Wolf on Friday 11 December, with Diorama, Bragolin and Carrellee. Doors are at half past seven and the show starts at quarter past nine. The promoter is Sturm Promotions and tickets are sold through Ticketmaster; neither the venue nor the promoter publishes the price. The festival runs two nights, Barcelona and Madrid.
Diorama return to Spain ten years after their last visit. They bring “A Substitute For Light”, their eleventh studio album, out on 10 April on Accession Records with eleven tracks and previewed by “No Complications” and “More Gold”. The venue says the show will also run through the band’s career.
Torben Wendt started the project in Reutlingen in 1996. The debut demo reached Adrian Hates, of Diary of Dreams, who produced their first album and released it in 1999 on his own label, Accession, which still puts them out.
Bragolin, from the Netherlands, make their debut here: it’s Edwin van der Velde’s project, named after the painter Giovanni Bragolin, and their first album is “I Saw Nothing Good So I Left” (2018). Carrellee, from the United States, also debuts, with a dark synthpop that places her among the newest darkwave acts.
