Small Stone Recordings · 6 November 2026
Madrid trio Electric Valley recorded “Echo” live in the studio in a single take, according to their label, Small Stone Recordings, which released it on 6 November and has it streaming in full on its Bandcamp. It has seven tracks and lasts around forty minutes: “Gata” opens it and the title track, “Echo” (7:03), closes it; in between come “Strange Land”, “The Colony”, the longest track at 7:57, “The Asteroid”, “Oceano” and “Ancient Monolith”. It’s the band’s fourth full-length.
The trio line-up is Mario García on guitars and keyboards, Charlie Sánchez on drums and percussion, and Miky Simón on bass and vocals. Javier Ortiz recorded it at Estudio Brazil in Madrid, except for the title track, which Eric Medina recorded at Abuso de Confianza, also in Madrid.
Charlie Sánchez mixed every song except “Echo”, which Medina mixed, and the album was mastered at Baseline Audio Labs in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The band formed in 2014, the year of their first EP, “51973”, and went on to release “Multiverse” (2015), “Two Realities at War” (2017) and “Tapes From The Galactic Tavern” in June 2021, which Ortiz and Medina had also recorded at the same studios.
