Exhaust is the trio of saxophonist Camila Nebbia, pianist Kit Downes and drummer Andrew Lisle, and “All the Beauties and Disasters” is their first album for Intakt Records, which released it on 23 October 2026 (Intakt CD 460). Nanni Johansson recorded it on 24 October 2025 at Hansa Studios in Berlin, and Martin Ruch mixed and mastered it in June 2026 at Control Room, also in Berlin. It has eight tracks, from “Complicated Matters of Presence” to the title track, and all the music is credited to the three of them. It’s streaming in full on the major platforms, Deezer among them.
According to the label, the trio is devoted entirely to improvisation, and it’s the first time Downes has played Hammond organ and cello in the group as well as piano. The cover is by Nebbia herself; Kevin Le Gendre wrote the liner notes and Paul Bieri did the graphic design. It’s produced by the three musicians and Intakt Records.
