Glorious Wolf, the studio project of Dutch guitarist and composer Ruud Dielen, released “Elements Of Hope” on 7 June 2026 on the OOB Records label. According to the text on its Bandcamp, the album tells the story of a child growing up in a chaotic world, facing challenges such as artificial intelligence, climate change, the pressures of the world stage and wars that never end. It’s also about holding on to hope for a brighter, more peaceful future. There are nine tracks: the title piece, divided into five parts, and four more, “If You Please”, “If I Only”, “Whirlwinds and Maelstroms” and “Everything Must Break To Grow”. It’s sold digitally on the band’s Bandcamp.
Dielen composed and arranged the music, and the lyrics and lead vocals are by Frank van der Borg and Jyoti Verhoeff. Also playing are Kike Paglia, Tim Ros, Harrie Knapen, Reg Parham, Thomas Zunk and Ties van Diesen. Dielen recorded it himself and mixed and produced it with Sjef Eikemans; mastering is by Steve Kitch Mastering and cover design by Henk “Philhelmon” Bol. The previous album listed on its Bandcamp, “Mysterious Traveler”, came out on 1 November 2023.
