Imminence have released “Axis Mundi”, the album that follows “The Black” (2024). It runs to eleven tracks through Sumerian Records, produced by the band themselves with Henrik Udd and Drew Fulk. The latest advance track comes with a video: “Shed Your Skin”.
Eddie Berg’s violin, already the house signature, carries more weight here, and the album adds orchestral arrangements. The band say that on “Axis Mundi” they have worked “more ambitiously and thoroughly than with any other album before” and that they have “expanded the boundaries” of their own art form.
They headline the European tour, with August Burns Red as special guests: it opens on 8 January in Gothenburg and closes on 6 February in Malmö, stopping in Hamburg, Manchester, London, Brussels, Paris, Düsseldorf, Offenbach am Main, Ludwigsburg, Milan, Vienna, Budapest, Munich, Berlin, Leipzig, Warsaw, Helsinki and Stockholm. That is nineteen announced cities, with four dates still without a venue, and not one of the announced stops is in Spain.
