Kiko Veneno plays the Sala de Concerts at the Palau de la Música Catalana on Thursday 21 January 2027, as part of the Guitar BCN series promoted by The Project. The show starts at 20:30, runs about two hours and has no interval. Tickets are 30 to 52 € and are already on sale.
He is backed by the Banda del Retumbe, the line-up he has been touring with for years. The venue listing does not say which record he is bringing, but the calendar does: a new album — his twenty-first, and his first in five years — is out on 6 November 2026 through Subterfuge, produced by Bronquio and mixed by Raúl Pérez. “Helicrisum”, “Precisamente” and “Yo y mi manager”, the last a duet with Estopa released on 3 September, are its advance singles; the one before it was “Hambre”, from June 2021. On the set, the listing only says it will mix his best-known cantecitos with more recent material.
January 2027 is fifty years since his first record. He cut “Veneno” (1977) with Raimundo and Rafael Amador. Soon after he wrote “Volando voy”: Camarón de la Isla sang it on “La leyenda del tiempo”. “Échate un cantecito” (1992) took him out of the cult circuit, and from the more recent stretch come “Sombrero Roto” (2019) and “Hambre”.
Under-16s may only enter accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and must bring the printed and completed responsibility form the Palau links from the event page.
