Fifty years of career do not come round every day, and Klamm celebrate theirs on Saturday 19 December at the Auditori Joan Bordetas in Calàbria 66. Doors open at 7pm; general admission is €6, and €25 with the CD.
The night is a special event: a round table with the band’s members, unreleased audiovisual material, a surprise showcase and a return to playing live. Attendees will be able to buy, exclusively, a CD of unreleased recordings from 1982 and 1983, in a limited edition.
Klamm came out of underground Barcelona and became a cult band with a style of their own, built on crossed guitars and impossible rhythms. Their music started from improvisation, from which they drew the rhythms to develop the songs. In 1982, in a DIY spirit, they founded their own label, Klamm Records, where they released, among others, the LP “Africa Roja”. After nearly four decades, they are back on stage.
