Tickets

La Bomba de Tiempo play Razzmatazz 1 on Tuesday 6 October, starting at half past eight in the evening. Advance tickets cost €22.04 with fees included and are sold through the venue’s own site; the venue doesn’t publish either the doors time or the door price. Entry is for over-16s, with under-16s admitted accompanied by a parent or legal guardian carrying a signed authorisation. It’s the only Catalan date announced on the band’s twentieth-anniversary tour.

The Buenos Aires collective doesn’t play a set repertoire. A conductor stands at the front with a vocabulary of hand signals: each gesture calls for an entrance, a cut, a change in density, and the percussionists respond on the spot. The piece is composed in front of the audience and never repeats at another show. The venue sums it up as “half concert, half celebration”: the crowd’s dancing and reactions are part of what gets played.

The format was born in 2006 with Monday nights at Buenos Aires’s Ciudad Cultural Konex, and over two decades the group reckons more than seven million people have passed through it, between the home sessions and tours across Latin America, Europe and Asia. Along the way they’ve shared a stage with Jorge Drexler, Julieta Venegas, Natalia Lafourcade, Emir Kusturica and Coldplay.

There’s far less material on record than live, and almost all of it is collaborations: the last studio release is “Revolución Beat” (2019), and the most recent work is the three-track live EP “Vivo Berlín” (2025). The newest single is “El Nuevo Campeón”, with Amar Azul, from 3 September this year.
