Los Rebeldes play Sala Apolo on Saturday 21 November, with doors at 7.30pm and the band onstage at 8.30pm. Advance tickets are €30 and €35 on the door. There is a €100 package that includes getting into the 7pm soundcheck, a signed record and a photograph with the band.

They are bringing “Gente estridente”, the five-song EP they released in February. The venue advertises the show as “Con Dani Nel·lo – Mañana veremos”: “Mañana veremos” is the song that opens the EP and Nel·lo guests on saxophone on it, but the listing does not say anywhere that he will be there that night.

On the EP, Carlos Segarra is joined by Miguel Ángel Escorcia on guitar, Celso Sierra on double bass and Lucky Martínez on drums. There is rockabilly, doo-wop, rhythm & blues and swing, and Nel·lo turns up again on “Nada conmigo”, which mixes cajun, bolero and Caribbean rhythms.

Los Rebeldes formed in Barcelona in 1979 and their first album was “Cervezas, chicas y rockabilly”. In 2024 Segarra had got back together with Aurelio Morata and Moisés Sorolla, the band’s two other founders, to record “Rebeldes 79”, and they took it around Spain in 2025.

Under-16s may attend with a parent or legal guardian, or with an adult carrying a signed consent form.
