Pi Recordings releases “Hurry Red Telephone”, the album by the Marc Ribot Quartet, on 30 October 2026, with catalogue number PI116. There are six tracks: “New Monster”, “Faucets of Terrible”, “Gnat”, “Ghost of Sleeping”, “Nan Guinan” and “Rara”. Four are compositions by Ribot (guitar) and two are by Frantz Casséus.
The album comes from two sessions with two line-ups. Chad Taylor (drums) is on both; one features Sebastian Steinberg (bass) and Briggan Krauss (alto saxophone) and the other Hilliard Greene (bass), James Brandon Lewis and Brian Settles (tenor saxophone). David Watson is also credited on “New Monster”. It is released on CD, vinyl and digitally on Bandcamp.
