Maryann Cotton releases “Chester Rose” on 30 October 2026 through Deko Entertainment. Twelve songs written by Cotton, Dick Wagner and Alice Cooper tell the story of a rock star who becomes a serial killer. Cooper and Wagner had conceived the project as a theatrical concept album, in the manner of “Welcome To My Nightmare”, intended both as an album and for television.

Dick Wagner died on 30 July 2014, shortly before the project went into the studio. Two years before the release, Cotton reopened the original Pro Tools sessions and restored Wagner’s guitar riffs and solos from them. Steve Hunter took part in the process, and the album contains the last performances by Wagner and Hunter together. Tommy Henriksen and Crossbone Skully, of Hollywood Vampires, contribute rhythm and lead guitar. The first single, “Thief Of Hearts”, came out on 18 September.
