Mercury Rev reissue “Boces”, their 1993 album, on 13 November through Beggars Banquet. The edition covers the UK and Europe and the remastering is by Henry Rudkins, at AIR Studios in London.

“Boces” was the band’s second album, the last with David Baker as frontman and the first they made for a major label: Columbia put it out in the United States and Beggars on the British side. There are ten songs, from “Meth Of A Rockette’s Kick” to “Girlfren”. The band formed in Buffalo in 1989 and their tenth album, “Born Horses”, came out in 2024 on Bella Union.

They are on a European tour right now for the twenty-fifth anniversary of “All Is Dream” and play Hackney Church in London on 17 October. No Spanish date has been announced.
