The two Curtcircuit nights for “Es un dolor inexplicable”, before the Apolo on 22 January

Mujeres play Curtcircuit two nights running, Friday 18 December at the Sala Zero in Tarragona and Saturday 19 at La Boîte in Lleida, with Me and the Bees opening both. Under-16s have to be accompanied. These are two of the tour’s twenty-one dates, which run from 23 October in Castelló to 27 February in Almeria with seven different bands supporting depending on the city.

The Barcelona trio bring “Es un dolor inexplicable”, their seventh album, which Sonido Muchacho released on 20 March. There are ten tracks and they had trailed “Caen imperios”, “Alucinante” and “Después destello”. The band is Yago Alcover, Pol Rodellar and Arnau Sanz, who have been playing together for nearly twenty years.

The fourth and last Catalan date is the Sala Apolo in Barcelona, on Friday 22 January at seven in the evening, as part of the Cruïlla Concerts series and with Gúdar opening; tickets for that night start at €20. The first Catalan date was Igualada, on 24 October at La Bastida del Rec, with Yo Somos.

Me and the Bees arrive with “Siempre igual”, which they put out on 24 October last year. It is the Barcelona band’s fourth album, the first they sing in Spanish and the first since “Menos Mal”, from 2017.
