Night In Gales have put out the lyric video for “Emberfield Veil”, the first track to be heard from “Bitter Harvest”. The album comes out on 13 November on Apostasy Records.
They opened the pre-order on 13 September without warning anyone. “Surprise? We’ve been keeping this under wraps, but we can proudly announce that the pre-order of our 10th studio album has started,” they said at the time. “Three decades in, our tenth studio album Bitter Harvest is locked, loaded, and ready. We took everything you loved about Shadowreaper and The Black Stream, dialed up the intensity, and injected the raw, rock-infused late ‘90s spirit of our early classics like Towards The Twilight and Thunderbeast.”
Mixing and mastering are by Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg. The cover is painted once again by Paolo Girardi. There are nine tracks, and it comes out on vinyl, CD, a limited wooden boxset and bundles.
The band formed in May 1995 in Voerde, in North Rhine-Westphalia, and “Towards the Twilight”, the album they name in the statement, is from 1997.
