Oh Hiroshima begin an eleven-date European tour on 15 October in Warsaw, ending on the 25th in Hamburg. Swedish band Barrens join them from the 20th, in Prague.

The itinerary is Warsaw (15), Poznań (16), Chorzów (17), Budapest (18), Vienna (19), Prague (20), Mainz (21), Waregem (22), Paris (23), Haarlem (24) and Hamburg (25), all of them small venues: the Viper Room in Vienna, Petit Bain in Paris, Patronaat in Haarlem and the MS Stubnitz, a ship moored in Hamburg. There is no date in Spain.

They are touring “And The Dead Tree Gives No Shelter”, released on 5 June through Pelagic Records. The title comes from T. S. Eliot’s “The Waste Land”, and the band explains that the dead tree stands for ways of living that drain the world of meaning.

Oh Hiroshima formed in 2009 in Kristinehamn and are now two brothers: Jakob Hemström on guitar and vocals and Oskar Nilsson on drums.
