Progressive Rock

Pink Floyd are, for now, Tótum readers’ favourite band: they stand at 96% in the Prog Ranking, the highest average score of any band. In the poll, readers rate progressive rock, progressive metal and jazz fusion bands from one to five stars, and the percentage is each band’s average out of five.
Second and third place come down to hundredths. Genesis and King Crimson are both on 92%, and only the exact average (4.61 to 4.58) puts Genesis ahead.
Camel and Rush (90%), Yes (89%), Porcupine Tree (88%), Supertramp (86%), Jethro Tull and Marillion (83%) fill out the top ten. IQ and Steven Wilson are also on 83%, but their average of 4.14 leaves them two hundredths behind Marillion (4.16), just outside it.
There’s still time to vote. The poll closes on 15 December, and until then every rating can shift the chart. To take part, you need to rate at least five bands. Voting is on the Prog Ranking page, and the full chart, with each band’s percentage, is on the results page.
