Rod Stewart plays the CaixaBank Tarraco Arena in Tarragona on Thursday 8 July 2027, as part of “The Final Encore”. It is the tour’s only Catalan date. Tickets go on sale on Monday 5 October at 10:00, through the venue’s website and the Diari de Tarragona ticketing platform; no price has been announced.

The European tour opens on 23 April 2027 in Dublin and takes in The O2 in London, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and the Uber Arena in Berlin. In Spain he has announced 6 July at the Icónica Santalucía festival in Seville and the 13th at the bullring in Murcia; the Diari de Tarragona adds that until today the only stop with tickets on sale was the Roig Arena in Valencia.

Stewart has presented it as his last rock and roll tour and said the moment has come to say goodbye to life on the road, which does not mean he is leaving music. Announcing the Spanish dates he wrote, in Spanish, “España, ¡os traigo el bis final!” — Spain, I’m bringing you the final encore.

His most recent studio album is “Swing Fever”, from 2024, with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra: his thirty-third. The residency at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, ran for thirteen years and more than two hundred shows; the previous tour, “One Last Time”, was among the twenty highest-grossing in the world in 2024, and in 2025 he took the Legends Slot on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.

The venue is the city’s former bullring, with room for about ten thousand people.
