Svart Records release “Subterra”, the new Terveet Kädet album, on 5 February 2027. There are eighteen tracks, and the first of them, “Nylkijä”, already has a video.
Guitarist Ilari Kinnunen says the band worked differently this time: he wrote the music, and the lyrics are by Läjä, bass player Lene and himself. Compared with earlier records, he says, they spent little time working the songs out — after a few rehearsals and once in the studio, everything fell into place on its own.
The album arrives four years after “Kaikki kaikkia vastaan”, which Svart put out in March 2023. The band, from Tornio in northern Finland, has been releasing records since 1980.
