It has nine tracks, from “30 Degrees” to “The Book”. According to the physical edition’s credits as listed on Discogs, the vocals and lyrics are Smith’s, Ed Blaney plays guitar and sings, and Simon Archer plays bass, guitar and keyboards. All three share the writing and production credits, Robin Ayling is executive producer, and the album was produced at 6dB Studios. It’s streaming in full on the major platforms, Deezer among them.
Cog Sinister is the label The Fall used at various points between 1987 and 1995; since 1997 it has concentrated on reissues of the band’s back catalogue and it’s now part of Gonzo Multimedia, according to the label’s Discogs profile. The Fall formed in 1976 in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, and split in 2018. The last studio album the band released in the singer’s lifetime was “New Facts Emerge”, on 28 July 2017, less than six months before he died.
