The Ocean play the Salamandra in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat on Thursday 4 February 2027, with A.A. Williams as guest. Doors are at seven in the evening, advance tickets are €35 and €40 on the door, and Madness Live is promoting it. The promoter warns that final running times are not published until a week before the show, and that under-sixteens can only get in with a parent or legal guardian.
It is the second time in a few months that the band has come through. On 25 and 26 September they headlined the eighth Be Prog! My Friend at La Carpa del Poble Espanyol, alongside Soen, with the same promoter and a capacity capped at 1,200. This time they come back with a full show of their own.
The tour goes with “Solaris”, out on 25 September on Pelagic Records — the same day Be Prog! opened — and which entered the German album chart at number 15. The record follows a rescue vessel fleeing a dying Earth, and the names of explorers run through it: da Gama, Magellan, Drake, Amundsen, Scott and Rasmussen. The artwork is by Phillip Janta and Martin Kvamme.
The European tour starts on 23 January and ends on 20 February, taking in twenty-seven cities and two Spanish dates: Madrid on 3 February and L’Hospitalet on the 4th. It is the only Catalan stop.
A.A. Williams is not doing the whole run but a part of the dates, mostly the southern European ones. She released “Solstice” on 5 June 2026, and she is the only support announced for the Salamandra night.
