This Is Lorelei plays La Nau on Wednesday 10 March 2027, doors at eight, show at half past. It’s run by Primavera Sound, and tickets go on sale on Fever on Wednesday 16 September at eleven in the morning, at 24 € plus distribution fees. The show is a year and a half away.
He arrives with “The Singer in My Band”, released through Matador. This Is Lorelei is the solo project of Nate Amos, who is also one half of Water From Your Eyes with Rachel Brown. For a decade he uploaded dozens of albums and EPs to Bandcamp with no particular ambition, and didn’t debut with a proper album until 2024, with “Box for Buddy, Box for Star”.
Since that album, songwriters like MJ Lenderman and Cameron Winter have covered his songs. What Amos does is take the age-old American song — guitar, voice up front — and record it as if he couldn’t care less whether it sounds polished.
