Vargas Blues Band play Sala Rasa 64 in Terrassa, on Carrer de la Rasa, on Saturday 31 October. Doors are at half past nine in the evening and the show starts at ten. Advance tickets are €18 plus fees and €22 on the door.
It is a double night. The poster announces the launch of Javier Vargas’s autobiography, “Historias de la carretera”, alongside the concert, and the ticket shop says the audience will be able to buy the book signed by him and the latest album.
The set comes from “Barrio Blues”, the eleven-track album the band released this year, and from the classics of Vargas’s career. “Barrio Blues” revisits songs such as “Sangre Española”, written with Manolo Tena, and “Conductores Suicidas”, written with Joaquín Sabina, and adds four previously unreleased instrumentals. Andy Vargas, Santana’s singer, sings on three songs.
The tour has a second Catalan date: 17 March 2027 at La Nau in Barcelona, on Carrer d’Àlaba, at nine in the evening, with tickets from €20. That one is promoted by Etin Produccions; the Terrassa poster carries the Panorama Group logo alongside the sponsors, and does not say whether there is a support act.
