Bad Company release “Live In London” on 13 November, recorded at the O2 Arena on 29 October 2016 with Paul Rodgers on vocals, Mick Ralphs on guitar and Simon Kirke on drums. Four days after that show, Ralphs suffered a stroke that took him off the stage for good. He died on 23 June 2025, aged 81.
“It was the last time I played with Mick… Had I known, I would have hugged him a bit harder and a bit longer,” says Kirke.
Rodgers remembers the night: “Both the fans and the band were on great form. You could really feel the connection with the audience, and they sang their hearts out.”
The release comes out on double blue vinyl with a gatefold sleeve, on CD and digitally. It’s preceded by the video for “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy”, the first single the band took from “Desolation Angels” in 1979.
