Moonspell won’t be doing Cradle of Filth’s North American tour because their visas won’t be processed in time. They’re being replaced by Blackbraid, joining a bill that already included Worm and Black Satellite.
“With broken hearts, we must announce that Moonspell will have to sit out this tour, as our visas cannot be processed in time,” the Portuguese band announced, saying they’re working with their agency to return to the United States in 2027 and asking fans to support the tour with its new line-up.
The tour is called “Majestic in Death II”, starting 29 September at the Observatory North Park in San Diego and ending 28 October in Colorado Springs. Cradle of Filth are marking thirty years of “Dusk… And Her Embrace”, their second album, released in 1996.
Blackbraid is the solo project of Jon Krieger, who performs as Sgah’gahsowáh, from the Adirondack Mountains of New York State and active since 2022. The latest full-length, “Blackbraid III”, is from 8 August 2025, and this past March he released a three-track EP, “Nocturnal Womb”.
