Denver thrash and Norwegian death metal on a four-band night

Havok, Blood Red Throne, Xonor and Eradikated play Salamandra, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, on Thursday 24 September. Doors open at half past six in the evening, tickets cost 30 €, and the night is promoted by Madness Live. Four bands on a Thursday is a long bill, and it starts early.

Denver’s Havok headline. Their latest album remains “V”, from 2020, but this year they’ve returned with new material: “Fifth Generation Warfare” in May and “The Ultimate Weapon” on 8 September, both through BLKIIBLK. Their trademark is fast riffs paired with explicitly political lyrics.

Blood Red Throne formed in 1998 in Kristiansand, put together by Død while he was still Satyricon’s guitarist, and have practised a direct, no-frills death metal ever since. Xonor and Eradikated open the night.
