Ferran Palau brings «Aniversari feliç» to Terrassa, with Mar Pujol opening the night

Ferran Palau performs at Terrassa’s Nova Jazz Cava on Sunday 15 November at half past seven in the evening, with Mar Pujol opening the night. Tickets are 15 € in advance, plus fees, and 18 € on the door. The show is part of Curtcircuit, the touring series run by Catalonia’s Association of Concert Venues.

Palau arrives with “Aniversari feliç”, this year’s album. He sings almost in a murmur, with processed guitars, plenty of silence between notes and a tendency to end songs sooner than the listener expects. He was previously in Anímic, a considerably more abrasive guitar band.

Curtcircuit spreads its shows across venues in Lleida, Tarragona, Salt, Terrassa or El Prat rather than concentrating them in one place, with the idea of giving the country’s venues their own programming. The Nova Jazz Cava is a small room with a jazz-club tradition.
