The Moses Yoofee Trio’s Berlin show at La Nau is no longer on 22 September: the venue and Piñata Music now list it for Monday 14 December, doors at 20:00, show at 20:30, tickets from 20 €. The old listing’s address now redirects to the new one, and neither site still shows the September date. No reason has been given.
Yoofee plays keyboards and handles production; Roman Klobe-Barangă plays electric bass and guitar, and Noah Fürbringer plays drums. Despite the name, the line-up includes no double bass, and the repertoire is original compositions, not standards.
The band won Best Live Act at the German Jazz Awards before having any full-length album out. Their first, “MYT”, came out on 7 February 2025 on Leiter — co-founded by Felix Grimm and Nils Frahm — and is thirteen tracks. Since then they’ve released the EP “Chasing Light”, on 29 May this year, with six more. La Nau is advertising them with “MYT”.
