Snarky Puppy play two nights running at Paral·lel 62: Friday 2 and Saturday 3 April 2027. The festival’s listing only gives the time for the first, nine in the evening. It’s the second confirmation for the 59th Barcelona Jazz Festival, produced by The Project.
The festival notes that this is the same venue where the collective played its first Barcelona show. The setup is standing-room, mixed audience.
Paral·lel 62 is the former Sala BARTS, a municipal venue now run by the L’Afluent, Quesoni and Sala Upload cooperatives. The main room holds up to 1,450 people and there’s a second room, the Club, with 130 seats.
The band is led from the bass by Michael League. Their most recent release is “Somni”, eight tracks recorded live with the Metropole Orkest and Jules Buckley in Utrecht in January 2025, out on 21 November that year through GroundUP Music.
