Bullet For My Valentine release “Social Apocalypse” on 19 March 2027 through Spinefarm. It is the Welsh band’s eighth album, there are ten tracks and the title track came out on 23 September with a video. Carl Bown produces again, having worked on the previous records.
There are two guests: Chrissy Costanza, of Against The Current, sings on “In The Absence Of You”, and Will Ramos, of Lorna Shore, on “I Don’t Trust Tomorrow”. The other tracks are “Here Without You”, “Acid Rain”, “Fragile”, “CVLT”, “Masquerade”, “Read Between The Lines” and “Enough Is Never Enough”.
Singer Matt Tuck puts it like this: “Everything in life is changing at such a rapid pace, and it is hard to find a great deal of positivity when you look at events in the world. People are being pitted against each other. The world is full of conflict instead of unity.”
The European tour opens in Lisbon on 21 January, takes in the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid on the 22nd and the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona on the 23rd, and runs until 27 February at the AO Arena in Manchester. Pendulum are special guests on every date and Dark Divine open the nights. Barcelona is the only Catalan stop and tickets go on sale on 30 September at nine in the morning.
The band’s previous album, self-titled, came out on 5 November 2021.
