Faith No More will play Mystic Festival in Gdańsk in summer 2027. The festival, held in the Letnica district from 10 to 12 June, has announced them as the first headliner of the edition, in a statement that opens: “Surprise! We’re alive! As are Faith No More, alive and kicking, making a comeback.”
Faith No More have not been on a stage since August 2016, when they played two shows with Chuck Mosley, their first singer, to mark a reissue of their debut album. The reunion they had lined up for 2021 was called off. But the comeback does not start in Poland: in January and February they play four dates in Australia and New Zealand with System Of A Down, opening at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on 22 January and continuing in Melbourne on the 27th, Brisbane on 1 February and Wellington on the 7th.
The festival frames them around four albums — “The Real Thing”, “Angel Dust”, “King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime” and “Album Of The Year” — and adds 2015’s “Sol Invictus”, still the last record they have put out.
Three-day passes are on sale at 879 zloty in the early-bird tier (around €200) and 1,399 for VIP (around €320). No other names on the bill have been announced, and there is no Spanish date either.
