Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have signed to Napalm Records. The Germans are at work on what will be their thirteenth studio album, due in the summer of 2027 and almost two years in the making.
“It is sealed: Die Apokalyptischen Reiter join Napalm Records! A new chapter begins — and we couldn’t be happier,” the band say. Signing for the label is Sebastian Münch, senior A&R: “The Reiter have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — for me, they’re one of the most important German metal bands of all times.”
The band formed in 1995 and have twelve studio albums. Their best commercial showing came with “Der Rote Reiter”, which reached number 10 on the German chart. The current line-up is Fuchs on vocals, Titus Maximus on guitar, Volk-Man on bass and Rohgarr on drums.
Before they close production on the album they have dates: the “Schrei!Nachten” tour, with Robse and Disillusion, which they play between Christmas and New Year.
