Talking Heads release a super deluxe edition of “Fear of Music” on 13 November. Their third album, produced by Brian Eno, came out on 3 August 1979. There is a three-CD-plus-Blu-ray version, a double LP and a six-LP set.

The bulk of the new material is two complete concerts from that same year that have never been issued: the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on 24 August, and the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey, on 17 November.

Alongside them are four alternate versions, an unfinished outtake called “Dancing For Money” and the twelve-inch version of “I Zimbra”. The Blu-ray carries the album in high-resolution stereo, in 5.1 and in Dolby Atmos, plus two songs from the “Old Grey Whistle Test” session.

The physical edition comes with a sixty-page hardback book, rarely seen photographs, liner notes by Will Hermes and custom vinyl etchings. The digital listing counts forty-six tracks; the original album had eleven.
