Yes have released the digital deluxe edition of “Aurora”, which is not a new record: the band’s twenty-fourth studio album came out on 12 June through InsideOut and Sony, and what was added on 2 October are instrumental versions of every song.

At the same time they premiered the video for “Ariadne”, directed by Matt Hutchings.

The line-up is Steve Howe on guitars, Jon Davison on vocals, Geoff Downes on keyboards, Billy Sherwood on bass and Jay Schellen on drums, and it is the first time since “Keys to Ascension 2” (1997) that two consecutive Yes albums have been made by the same five. Howe produces again.

The record is eight tracks, ten with the two bonus cuts, and 59 minutes 28 seconds in this edition, with arrangements by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra on some pieces and a sleeve by Roger Dean with Freyja Dean. It reached number 42 on the UK albums chart and number 8 in Germany.

The physical editions — the 2LP+2CD+Blu-ray on light green vinyl and the 2CD+Blu-ray — carry Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and 24-bit stereo mixes mastered by Curtis Schwartz.
