Hardcore Superstar han fitxat per Frontiers Music i hi comencen amb «Halo», un senzill que surt dies abans que el grup obri el Dirty Halo Tour. La gira arrenca el 2 d’octubre a l’Slagthuset de Malmö, són vint dates per Suècia i Finlàndia i el 2027 continua per Europa.
Els de Göteborg parlen de gana: «After all these years, we’re still just as hungry to make great records, play loud and push Hardcore Superstar forward. We feel Frontiers understands where we come from, but more importantly, where we want to go next.» Aldo Lonobile, vicepresident d’A&R del segell, hi respon: «They have built an incredible legacy, but I truly believe they still have a lot to say and many more chapters to write.»
De «Halo» en diuen que va de resar sense creure-hi: «Halo is an anthem for people faking their prayers in the hope of securing a little grace under their Dirty Halo. It’s about that distorted line that lies somewhere between praying for redemption and embracing the chaos.»
Mentre preparaven la gira ja treballaven al successor d’«Abrakadabra», que serà el primer disc amb Efraim Larsson a la bateria, vingut de Gathering Of Kings i Masterplan. Els suecs van debutar el 1998 i darrerament han tingut unes quantes cançons a la sèrie «Peacemaker» de James Gunn.
