Australian guitarist Josh Meader’s trio play Jamboree’s Sala 3 on Sunday 4 October at 19:00, tickets 24 €, 20 € for members. It’s sold out.
Meader is a guitarist trained at the Sydney Conservatorium, joined by Alex Hirlian on drums and Matt Thomson on keys. Both have won the Australian National Jazz Award. What they play sits between jazz and fusion, with electric guitar up front and plenty of room for improvisation.
The show runs an hour and a half and falls on a Sunday at dinner time, which at Jamboree is business as usual: the club runs two sets every night.
