Jack Gardiner

Jack Gardiner (born 26 August 1993) is a rising professional musician/guitarist based between Liverpool, UK, and Switzerland. Jack started playing and teaching professionally at 15, performing with popular rap and R&B artists (KOF/Janice Myers) in large venues and live on BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge at Maida Vale Studios. By 16, with a high level of technical skill and live-performance experience already under his belt, Jack started taking lessons from renowned fusion guitarist Tom Quayle, which significantly shaped his style and sound. Since then, Jack has built up a following across his social media channels and has been invited to perform at trade fairs and run masterclasses and clinics around the world (MMI, ITA and Portavella Guitar Camp, Spain, alongside Guthrie Govan).

In 2017, Stu Hamm (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Allan Holdsworth) approached Jack to play guitar on his Greatest Hits Tour EU alongside Craig Blundell (Steven Wilson). That same year, ’80s pop/rock band China Crisis brought Jack in to handle guitar duties as a permanent member of the group.

Now 26, Jack has kept refining his formidable technique and sophisticated style, and keeps a busy schedule touring extensively across the UK and Europe. He currently works with several gear companies and is actively teaching students from all over the world, including through the lesson packages on his website.

Jack is currently working on his solo debut (due in early 2020) and collaborates with a number of artists on various projects.
